“Strengthening the role of the civil society institutes in the state (municipal) governance process in Kyrgyz Republic” is aimed at substantial strengthening of good governance practices and the democratic processes in the Kyrgyz Republic with a way of rendering efficient strategic support to build the capacity of the civil society institutes through enhancing their representative role in the decision making process and the elaboration of social and economic policies. The project aims at supporting state agencies and civil society organizations in developing a constructive dialogue on solving major social and economic problems through the improvement of the normative and legal framework, involvement of citizens and their representative organs (civil society institutes) in the main governance processes: participatory planning, elaboration of sectoral and territorial policies, resource mobilization, realization of social and economic projects as well as their monitoring and evaluation. In addition, civil society organizations will receive support in terms of diversification of their financial strategies. The project also aims at the compliance with the principles of good governance through strengthening an awareness of the public about the activity of state agencies by means of their constant interaction.
